Hello
My name is Lindsay Browne. I'm an RPN and an advanced Diabetic Foot Care Nurse with over 12 years of experience in the nursing profession. I have spent the majority of my career working in acute medicine within a hospital setting as well working in rehabilitation nursing, before I decided to make the move to community-based nursing in Kawartha Lakes.

While working in the hospital, what stood out most to me was the sheer number of patients who had neglected, or were otherwise unable to care for their feet. This often lead to more complicated health issues, many of which were preventable.
I embarked on this new path seven years ago when I first pursued specialized training in diabetic foot care, enabling me to provide this essential assistance to individuals in the community.
My Story
Driven by a deep commitment to improving the well-being of others, I made the decision to dedicate myself full-time to this field two years ago, recognizing the pressing need for comprehensive diabetic foot care services. Leveraging my extensive knowledge and skills acquired over the past two years, as well as my broader nursing background, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. I remain dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in the field by actively participating in ongoing professional development courses.
My primary goal is to assist individuals from all walks of life within the community, ensuring they maintain healthy and happy feet through education and routine care. With an unwavering dedication, compassionate approach, and continuous pursuit of knowledge, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of my patients through comprehensive basic and advanced diabetic foot care.
My Family
When I'm not in the clinic, you can usually find me cheering on my two boys at a local rink, soccer field, or baseball
diamond. I can also be found walking my two Golden Retrievers.
I am a wife, and a mother to 2 beautiful and very active boys. This new passion of mine allows me to
spend more time with the other loves of my life!
